I got in all but one workout this week, so that was good. I definitely felt better getting all that exercise in during the week. It makes me feel better, happier, more positive. I didn't lose because I ate out some. I know, y'all have heard it before. And you can judge me as you please. I like socializing. I am young, I am single, and I am allowed to have fun. I understand that it is likely why I am maintaining more than I am losing right now, and it might mean limiting drinks, doing basic foods/salads in the future. I will figure that out. In the meantime, I am still taking care of myself, I still care about my health and my weight. Have some faith.
School was fine this week. We got a nice luncheon complete with gifts on Monday for Teacher Appreciation. We also got other treats during the week. I indulged some with them, but as much as I have before. My Theology kids are almost done with their first textbook, and I'm already figuring out what they will be doing in the next one. And I'm just dorky enough to be totally excited about it. My Brit Lit kids have been trudging through "Macbeth"- I am trying to make it as engaging as possible. I don't think they're feeling it. Oh well, it'll be over before they know it. And they're making good progress with their Research Papers, so yay for that!
I got to catch up with Amy and the kids during the week. That was really nice. Daniel is working on crawling, he's almost got it down. And Lizzy is just shooting up like a sprout. I can't believe how quickly they grow. I also got to chat with MK and got updates on her family- hope to see them soon :)
I've had a nice, relaxing weekend. I went out to dinner at Golden India on Friday- so glad they reopened! I had missed them and all their spicy, tasty food. Yesterday, I went to Zumba with the newer instructor, and she had me sweating after about 5 minutes, so that was awesome. After that, I putzed about my place, cleaning, taking care of a few random things. Then, that evening I went to Jamiee and Kaela's for dinner and game night. Kaela's family came over as well. The food was so good! I think I'm still full from it. After that, we played a few games- Logos and Apples to Apples. We had a really good time playing each of them :)
Today, I went to Mass, popped over to Mom's for a bit, ran a few errands, then made it home. I was going to go to a Super Bowl party but I decided that I didn't want to deal with this weather. No need to chance it with my driving skills, you know? So, I'm home, semi-watching the game and the commercials, and I'm wondering why my Broncos are doing so poorly. At least some of the commercials have been good. And the halftime show was pretty good.

Tip of the Week: Let go of anger and frustration. It doesn't do you any good to hold on so tightly to it.
