12/15- Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time

Weight Loss for the Week:0lbs

Due to being under the weather, I was not able to get in my early week workouts. And holiday events and all kept me from my end of the week workouts. Now that baking, shopping, and major events are out of the way, it is time to get back on track. Fortunately, it is exam week which means my days end by noon. So, I can get the gym before everyone else gets out of work :)

School last week was fine, crazy, fast, and slow. It was the last week of just classes, and we were all feeling it. I'm pretty sure teachers look more forward to break than students do. I am so excited for sleeping in, no grading, no prepping, reading things my students didn't write... It sounds so beautiful, and it's so close. I will make it, we all will.

This past weekend was great, busy, a real whirlwind. Friday evening, Mom and I went shopping for different items for our brunch. Then, I came home and did some more baking. Saturday morning, I went and helped her get the house ready for the brunch on Sunday. Then, I came home to get my place ready for Book Club. Thankfully, I had plenty of treats to put out, so I didn't have to prep as much as usual. It was nice, we had a good time catching up. I went to 5pm Mass that evening since I knew I wouldn't be able to go on Sunday. Then, I went Christmas shopping both in stores, and finally online. I am now done with my shopping :) Sunday, I got up, and I got myself and all my items ready to go to Mom's for brunch. We got the house in order and all the food prepared. We had almost thirty friends of ours over for a nice meal and good company. It was a great way to celebrate the holiday season. I loved having so many wonderful people there, and I hope they enjoyed themselves as well. After a bit of rest, I went to a dinner party at a friend's house. It was so festive and fun! Suffice it to say, I didn't need to eat much today!

Now, it's time to push through exam week and get everything in order before break begins :)

Tip of the Week: Enjoy your family and friends during this season!
