1/20- Take a sad song and make it better

Weight Loss for the Week: .5lbs

I am glad to have lost a bit of weight this week. I did most of my normal workouts, and I stayed on track with all of my points. I think this week I may make myself venture out and try a new class at the gym. I mean, I will keep doing Zumba because I really like it. But, I think it would be good to try something new as well- take full advantage of my membership, you know? I will let y'all know how that all goes next week (and maybe I'll remember to post on Sunday next week, too).

It was our first full week back at school. It was harder than I thought it was going to be. I'm hoping this wee fares better because I'm more into the routine now. We were all fairly tired by Friday. And we had a Pep Rally and a special basketball game. I made to half of the Varsity girls' game and the Varsity boys' game. It was a lot of fun seeing how many kids and parents showed up to cheer on the teams. Plus, I love basketball, so it was a good way to end the school week.

This weekend has been really nice, though rather packed. My Uncle Phil and Aunt Cheryl came in town at the last minute, so we had a full agenda. Saturday, Mom made brunch for all of us. Totally tasty, and she even used a Christmas gift from me to help bake some items. That evening, they stopped by to see my new place, then we went to Paulette's (my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE place to eat in Memphis). We had a really nice meal, and an even better conversation. Sunday, I went to Mass, then I got ready for the play we were going to see. We saw "Musical of Musicals: The Musical" and laughed the whole time! I just hope we didn't distract the actors because I have a rather loud laugh when I get going. After that, we had dinner at Mom's. And today, we had lunch, watched "Mary Poppins" (because Memaw had never seen it), played Phase 10, and then had dinner.  It has been a busy, but very enjoyable weekend.

Now, it's time to make sure everything is ready for the week before going to bed.

Tip of the Week: Go workout even when you don't feel like it- the time will pass whether you go or not, how you feel once it's passed will be different though.
